good putchase for the money,
Very hard wooking little scanner. Very thin. You could easily carry this in a computer bag on trips and use in a hotel room. Resonably quick to scan a document page. Comes with a CD program to install that is fairly easy to understand.I got it working in about 10 minutes. I like the fact that there is no extra power source needed-the power comes thru the cable that connects scanner to USB port. This scanner will only scan regular size 8 x 11 pages and NOT the legal size. Scans pictures very nicely. Good for the money.

This scanner is very portable and is compatable to my laptop. I take it with me on trips to scan in items for later use in my genealogy research. It has been worth the few dollars I paid for it.

|Portable and Easy to Use,
I purchased the Xerox 7600 Ultra Slim Scanner for the portability of scanning by using my laptop as the source power connection. It has proved to be light weight, portable, thin and really scans pictures with clarity. I use it for my geneology research and scan all types of pictures that sometimes are bulky. The lid is adjustable for the purpose of bulky items if needed. It is portable because it can be carried anywhere and used, because it is usb connected to your computer. The only problem is the software for scanning pictures seems to be slow, so I uninstalled the software that came with it and used my own that was already on my computer. As far as the pictures it scans, the clarity is there with all details you expect out of a high priced scanner.. By the way the scanner was under $60. I would recommend this scanner for anyone that needs a thin flatbed with features you would expect in a large scanner. I would of rated it 5 stars but the software with the scanner didnt meet my expectations..
